| We arrived in Rothenburg late morning and Ferdi led an orinetation tour. We had lunch and then explored this quintessential medieval walled village. Everything is very well preserved and clean. Walking the city wall provided a different perspective as we saw the town from above. |
| We did some shopping at the Kathe Wohlfahrt Christmas store and strolled through the manicured Castle garden. |
| Nancy, Wes, and Gary visited St. Jakob's Church. The Riemenschneider wood carving of the last supper is a wonderful masterpiece. |
| Don't miss the Night Watchman's tour. We found his dry humor hilarious and we did learn some history of Rothenburg. |
| We stayed in the Hotel Gerberhaus. It was very nice and new with one of the best breakfasts we had on the trip. |
