Arnhem Open-Air Dutch Folk Museum
Arhem has Holland's biggest folk museum with windmills, farm houses, school buildings, manor houses, and traditional crafts from different time periods in Dutch history.
A museum craftsman gave a demonstration of the historical paper making process in which fiber was extracted by pounding linen rags.
We ate lunch at the Pancake House.  Nancy and Ginger had a plain pancake
with warm cherries, cinnamon, ice cream, and whipped cream.
Well, we did walk a lot today.
Three generations of a family and their animals lived in this house.  They cooked over an open fire with no chimney.  At that time, people believed that blue paint on a house kept flies away.
