Amsterdam
Ferdi, our super ETBD guide, led our tour including the Anne Frank house, the Amsterdam Historical Museum, Dam Square, the Begijnhof, Westerkerk, and the red light district.
The Riksmuseum was undergoing renovation. This did not detract from the wonderful art including two favorites, Rembrandt's The Jewish Bride and Vermeer's Kitchen Maid.  The art alone is worth going on this trip again.
Nieuwe Kerk on Dam Square
The peaceful Begijnhof
The thought-provoking Anne Frank House  and Holocaust Memorial are two of the reasons we travel.
We saw beautiful flower stands throughout the Netherlands.
We used one of our extra days to really enjoy the Van Gogh museum.  We took our time and had lunch in the museum.  A delightful afternoon.
