| The Netherlands July 1- We arrived in Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport and took the bus to Haarlem. July 2 - After breakfast, we took the train to Amsterdam for the day and returned to Haarlem. July 3 - Today we went to Edam and returned in time for our tour meeting. A local guide, Hans, led a tour of Haarlem after the meeting. July 4 - The group spent the day in Amsterdam and returned to Haarlem for a group Indonesian dinner. July 5 - We took the tour bus to Arnhem and on to Bacharach in Germany. |

| Italy July 10 - On the way to Venice we passed through Innsbruck, Austria. July 11- Adventure day in Venice with a gondola ride in the evening. July 12 - We traveled to Florence today. July 13 - A full day to see the wonders of Florence. July 14 - We traveled to Rome today. July 15 - A day to explore magnificent Rome. July 16 - We stopped in Orvieto on the way to the Cinque Terre. July 17 - Our vacation from our vaction in the Cinque Terre. |
| Germany and Austria July 5 - Our bus arrived in Bacharach late in the afternoon. We had a group dinner in our hotel. July 6 - In the morining, we toured Bacharach with Herr Jung, a local guide. In the afternoon, we went to St. Goar and took a Rhine cruise back. July 7 - We traveled to Rothenburg today. July 8 - We stopped at Dachau concentration camp on our way to Ehenbichl, near Reutte, Austria. July 9 - Today, we toured Neuschwanstein Castle and rode the luge. |
| Switzerland July 18 - We made the scenic drive to the Lauterbrunnen Valley high in the Swiss Alps. July 19 - A trip to the Schilthorn and then time to walk through the beautiful valley. |
| France July 20 - "Auf Wiedersehen" Switzerland and "Bonjour" Beaune in the French region of Burgundy. July 21 - We traveled to Paris today. July 22 - A day to enjoy the gorgeous city of Paris. July 23 - Our tour is over but we have today to see more of Paris. July 24 - We took the train to Chartres for the day. July 25 - We started our journey home with many wonderful memories. |

| Bonjour, Guten Tag, Buon Giorno We are Gary and Nancy Simpson and we live in Stillwater, Oklahoma. In 2000, we went on a Best of Europe tour and enjoyed it so much we went on the same tour again in 2006. Our 2006 tour was different but just as much fun as the 2000 tour. We celebrated our 36th wedding anniversary with dinner on a Venetian campo and a gondola ride. Our good friends from Stillwater, Ginger and Wes, went on the tour and we made many new friends. Pictures cannot capture the joy, beauty, fellowship, sounds, food, wine, and inspiration of our trip but we hope this scrapbook encourages you to take your own trip. |
